Multiplanar Face Lift
A multiplanar face lift is a procedure that combines an endoscopic face lift, which is quite effective for the forehead and cheek rejuvenation with a face lift, that is designed to improve the lower face and the upper neck.
The procedure is named after the fact that the technique involves dissection of the soft tissue of the face in different planes at different levels, in order to provide a result that is, at the same time, safe and effective.
Multiplanar face lifts are complex procedures designed to provide a complete rejuvenation of the whole face and upper neck.
They can be combined with other facial rejuvenating procedures, such as eyelid lifts and/or Dermabrasion of the areas around the lips, for an ever more extensive and balanced result. These procedures can still be perfo rmed on an outpatient basis, in suitable candidates, in a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center in Naples, Florida.
The recovery time is longer than with either an endoscopic face lift or a traditional face lift, averaging four to five weeks in order for the patient to be able to show up at public events.
